PROTECTING PEOPLE FROM THE DANGERS OF BEING DRUGGED AND PROMOTE SAFE LIVING AND SAFE DRINKING
Safe Sip’s goal is to help alleviate anxieties that college students have regarding the possibility of being drugged while going out. We know that drinking is an inevitable part of the college experience, and we want students to feel as safe and secure as possible while partaking in this activity. Along with alleviating anxieties, Safe Sip is also aiming to start conversations surrounding drink spiking and its relation to sexual assault. About 75% of all rapes involve alcohol and/or drugs, and Safe Sip’s goal is to lower these numbers and spread awareness on the topic in order to prevent it from happening in the future. With our tabs, college students will have a convenient way to test their drinks so that they can feel safe during their nights out.
ABOUT US
Safe Sip, our drink-spiking detection product, started simply as a business idea within the INCubator Program at Mundelein High School. Since graduating and winning Final Pitch at MHS, we've gone on to promote Safe Sip nationally in the U.S. and create a community around the problem.

Safe Sip was created to prevent people from facing the dangers of drink-spiking, an issue personal to us. We believe in peace of mind and safety when enjoying a night out, so Safe Sip is not backing down from the fear and stigma of being spiked. From a high school course to a reality, Safe Sip is creating the future of safe living & safe drinking.
